  • you know you're old when

... the screaming little kid sitting behind you at a Hi5 concert scares you.
... the Hi5 members you grew up with have all left.
    ... you think a $10 Hi5 balloon is expensive.
... you feel embarassed to sing, dance (swing your arms around in the air) and yell out loud

I'm just kidding. I love kids.

And here's how my Hi5 experience went:

The start - the hi5 people are bopping out

    BIG MASSIVE BALLOONS!

Techno World - my favourite song XD

    And the reason I watched hi5 ^^

I'm so tired. From Spring Fair, preparation and all, tutoring afterwards, waking up early to watch Saturday Disney and then to hi5. Speaking of Spring Fair, people asked for the photos on my camera, so I uploaded them all. It was fun, really. But TIRING!

Btw, How's the music? I thought it might be torture for some (wonny), to put on ashley tisdale & miley cyrus.

  • You've all heard the warnings about posting your photos on Myspace and Facebook, probably thinking: Psh, like what could you do with a few awkward photo of some unknown person? Wait till they get famous, then blackmail them? If they don't, then bad luck?

Anyways, have you ever wondered if they could take your photos and use them for those banner ads which go: 'Search for hot girls in your area!' or the ones that annoy me the most 'Asian Cupid: The International Asian Dating Site!'

Imagine: You're on the internet one day, like every other day, and you see a picture of yourself on one of the side ad banners along with other 'hot' guys/girls. Would you be thinking: "Wow, they think I'm hot!" or " ... ", feeling betrayed?

Seriously, I'm not trying to scare anyone, Just something I was thinking about. Yeah, I know what you're thinking ('cause I'm psychic,) What a werido. Who thinks about these stuff?

  • No Matter WHAT

WHAT? A peace of my mind.

I can't cook. Not pasta. End up cutting my finger and splatting my shirt with tomato paste.

    I ain't dead  I ain't done
    I ain't scared, I ain't run
    But still I stand
No matter what people here I am
    No matter What

    Youtube love.

  • JUXtaposition

I was thinking. (Suprise.) I should decorate my xanga. So I went to look for streamers and balloons. And failed.
No, being serious, I opened PS, which takes a while cause I have a cheap computer almost as slow as me, and I tried to think how long has it been since I've moved the mouse in such a motion as to create a series of lines which resemble something or someone recognisable in the real world.

    sigh. If it was possible.

anyways. I think I should do something with my life.

ps. i was on the phone this morning, and i said to someone, 'I don't want to see you!' as a joke, but I don't think it went out that way, cause the person texted me back saying, 'So ownage "i dont want to see u" thought we were friends ><" '. SIGH! Now i feel owned. I had the urge to text back to explain the joke and my failed sarcasm, if my phone would allow me that option. oh well, i guess i'll just have to keep feeling guilty until the next time we meet.

and that brings us to miley's '...until the next time we meet... i will redeem myself' and also the end of my boring entry.

  • OOOOOOOOOOW!

Omgsh, I can hear an owl hooting or tooting or whatever they do, outside me window!!! I've never heard a real-l. I've been hearing weird noises all day, like this PA system thing at like 8 in the morning, and then this constant gong thing every hour (not that I was actually keeping track of time, being absorbed in doing maths and all...)

And therefore, I have come to the conclusion that...

Too much maths in one day is bad for your health.

  • Studying

Isn't it weird that it's mostly when you're studying that you think about things, which aren't really relevant to... umm, well, anything. Say, I'm studiyng Maths Extension (my last year 11 exam ), and suddenly, and I mean suddenly, I realise how small and messy my desk is. I know you're probably thinking that's normal, but my desk... I've got my mouse on top of my tablet. If you didn't know already, I am in love with my dear tablet, (and photoshop) and so to have my mouse on top of that, and my arm constantly resting on that.... oh, it breaks my heart. Yet, there is no other way. Sorry for all the rambling, my attempt to describe how disgusting my study environment is.

So, if you're owing me a bithday present from this year (or the past 17 years,) why not take this darn obvious hint, and donate a new desk to the needy (and desperate)?

Oh yeah, while you're at it, how about a new house, space for my desk? I've taken a great interest in this one:

Aside: Is it just my eyes, or are the xanga editing buttons a bit blurry? Freaked...

  • Happy and Sad

    Sad because:
    • I finished reading 'If you could see me now'. It's the first time I've cried reading a book. (This is beating Code  Blue..)
    • Miori left!!! Wahh! The sweetest buddy I've ever had!
    • I just glanced at my to-do list....
    • Listening to Leona Lewis (Better in Time)
    Happy because:
    • I 'm watching Phantom of the Opera on Monday! (There goes $75)
    • 'If you could see now' the movie is annouced and in 'active developement'! While reading the novel, I could so imagine this being a good movie.
    • Of Rumours about Wicked becoming a movie!
    • Beijing Olympics! Something to watch on TV 24/7 Opening  ceremony left me iu awe.

'If you could see me now' is another Cecelia Ahern novel, which is really worth reading. She explores trivial yet philosophical matter such as the concept of missing (from A Place called Here) and imaginary friends (from If you could see me now). I especially like this one, because its has a tone of innocence.

I've been looking for the other Cecelia Ahern books in every shire library, but they're all on loan... If you have one, quickly finish it already!

  • Fooooooooooooooooodd!

Just came back from KJ's awesumo 'party'. I'll post pictures up later from Steph's camera! We went to Montezama (hope I got it right...), and had Mexican! I couldn't remember what I ordered, and thought I was eating steak until Steph pointed out that it was in fact a chicken wing! >____<;; It was yummy, except the rice was crunchy... hmm. Wonny bought a cake too, and the waitress serving us gave Karina a special Mexican hat. She put it on sideways unknowingly, and kept complaining about it wobbling. Had such a fun night, we should get out more often, ladies.

Lala, going backwards in time, I baked these cakes in the arvo. One is for the picnic on monday, the other was just the product of mum not wanting to waste a packet of cake mix which had expired 3 years ago...*sigh*

I can't believe I even tried eating it. It tasted like...umm, salty crumby flour mixed with raw eggs, (and that's not what I made. I did BAKE it!)

It's so hard, if you throw it at Elmo's head, he'll fall unconcious!

Here's the one I actually put effort into and prettified it! I'm proud of this one! I taste-tested it too. Mmmm, green tea! Though, it was supposedly green tea tofu cheesecake, I forgot about the tofu totally, so now it's just green tea cheesecake. Lol, not much difference,eh? heehee...

Look! They're GREEN TEA LEAVES! AWESUMO, eh?! HEEHEE! I painted them on with acrylics and a paintbrush, lol. I sucked at evening the biscuit base on the sides...

I took some photos while we were wating for wonny at parra. Tourist!

My camera sucks! Like how the bus was just stopping at the deserted intersection.

Loves borders, it even looks pretty on the outside, like a little bright world of itself in the cold lonely night... Gosh, I think VA's getting in my head too much!

Happy birthday (yesterday) to Nikki, who's having an awesome Hello Kitty party tomorrow!!

  • Animated Walls and Falls

Wow, I'm like amazed and scared at the same time. I found this on http://daily.phirebrush.com/.

Well, it is really worth watching, and since I've tried stop animation last year in VD, I know this is really hard to do. Imagine how much white paint the dude must have used! And where do you get so many walls to paint on?!

MUTO a wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo.

Now onto animated falls... (I know, lame.)
This news reporter is so slack, but i'm not going to deny, i did laugh. Kamilia (the model) falls twice on the Vivienne Westwood S/S fashion show runway.

And on a final note, may the Westpac Maths Comp scrunch itself up and burn in a ball of flame! Rawr...
